maybe i really am a kid. . .or a kid at heart. . .whichever basta im 7 years old. . .i show all the symptoms of being a kid like being amazed by the smallest things like an army of ants in the kitchen or a flower with two colors, i still pray for my cabinets and toys at night which come to life every 12 midnight, i enjoy jump ropes and hulla hoops and cartoons, i never tire of counting the stars and lighting the ones above me using my flashlight hehe, i prefer bikes with training wheels, i am afraid of monsters under my bed or outside my window and hehe i throw tantrums bad ones but come to think of it we're all a bunch of kids some of us just dont show obvious symptoms but we're all kids. . .

ok wala nang paliguy-ligoy. . .they say that if you dream hard enough your dream will become real. . .i wish we could all learn to dream with our eyes open that way we wouldnt have to sleep to dream. . .i wonder if i really dreamt hard enough that i could fly. . .i just know it will come true. . .the only thing hindering others dreams from coming true is other peoples dreams which try wrecking those dreams but in the process wreck their own. . people always think its impossible but they dont know it isnt! we're all so stupid to let reality hinder us why cant we just live our lives a dream? or maybe its just me living in my own darn world where everything is so . . .secret :)) anlabo bangagity again. . .leave me alone to dream and i promise u i wont wreck any of yours SO LONG AS YOU DREAM.

ohhh long time like lady long. . .darn internet got busted along with the phone hahaha awaay waay awaay from civilization was i. . .happy again thanks for caring thanks for the damn haha labo. . .napakaganda ng ating wika. . .okay masmalabo pero paki n'yo hahaha okay bangag na lalalala angsaya ng buhay noh? parang joyride? kaso nung sumakay ako ng rollercoaster sa ek nasuka ako. . .motion sickness nga naman. . .parang tanga sa sasakyan sumusuka na pano pa kaya sa rollercoaster na bumabalibaligtad at pumaparito at roon? hahaha aioko na pero masaya sabi pa ni iyay "isa pa!" pero hnd ko na talaga nakayanan kaya hanggang banyo lang naabot ko bwahahaha malas! ganyan talaga ang buhay minsan may nasusuka! hahaha labo na talaga. . .

people always say its inner beauty that counts. . .but do they live up to it?! NOOOOOOOOOOOO even i dont. . .its just so hard to deviate from society's standards (eg the dove ads [ba?] - the ones which ask for peoples opinions whther or not this and that is beautiful [ageless aged bladibla] IS SO WRONG. how can we set standards for something we dont fully comprehend - [im talkin about] beauty) i guess part of it is not our fault. . i mean its the outer appearance of the person that greets us so we cant really tell BUT still we can never judge right away. . .beauty shouldnt onle be in the eye of the beholder it should be seen through all our eyes. . if we only took awhile to realize it we would. . beauty is all around us. . heck we're all beautiful, the world is beautiful, God is beautiful. . ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS OPEN OUR EYES TO SEE IT

I was jerked with a shudder by the discovery that right here, right now close to where I’m living are people who barely have the motivation and the desire to live. I realized that if I looked outside my window, I’d see nothing but run – down buildings, reeking rivers, so called under construction roads and orange cloudy skies polluted by too much light, noise and garbage. This is definitely not the perfect world one would imagine. To make things worse, these people are not only bearing with their extreme poverty but with political and societal turmoil which, given their situation, they can care less about.

Walking down the streets of Metro Manila one would be able to come across the following people: the old man pushing a ‘kariton’ shouting for people to give him used bottles which he can earn little by little from, the young children running around the streets and knocking on the glass windows of cars when the stop lights are red begging for money, the old lady carrying a crying baby boy while trying to persuade people to buy her sampaguitas, the man shouting “ballot” late into the night, the young girl leading an old blind man from jeep to jeep carrying a plastic cup, the young kids guiding cars to park waiting for the drivers to hand out coins, the children coming out of nowhere to wipe the windshield of cars, the woman fairly in her 30’s wearing a MMDA uniform sweeping the dirty streets up to no good for passers – by just dirty them up even worse than before, the sick old man lying asleep on a cardboard in the shade of the back of a building, the strong woman pushing another ‘kariton’ with all her children riding in it, the rather young man crawling in the streets with his limbs incomplete for his mother thought that breaking his bones would make them more pitiful and therefore richer and the list goes on. Yes, this list goes on until we put a stop to it.

This goal to put a stop to poverty is what should unite us now. Little by little we can see it taking its toll on us. It’s a great consolation (and my pleasure) to introduce a new set of people: the saleslady handing out her umbrella to the sick man looking for shade, the student buying sampaguitas from the old lady with the allowance she has left, the young boy picking up the pieces of paper in front of him to help the woman sweeping the streets, the businessman buying ballot from the man after a tiring day of office work, the driver thanking the little kids for helping him get out of his sticky parking situation, the young girl giving up her packed lunch to her fellow youngsters who didn’t even have breakfast yet and yes this list goes on and grows longer as long as we want it to. However, if we really want it to go on and grow longer, then we should become a member of this list. Small things go a long way. By just smiling at people who feel they have no reason to do so can give them more reason to be happy.

I realized that when we help people we shouldn’t let our emotions get to us. We shouldn’t pity these people because they were given life and with life comes love. What these people need, just like us, is love. In order to help them we must have the desire to give up our lives and everything that comes with it such as our talents, time and devotion.

 “What the world needs now is love, sweet love. . .” and it’s exactly what we should give it.
